Happy Independence Day?

The declaration of Independence boldly states that all men “are endowed by their creator with unalienable rights.” The firstAbortion: No right to Life for the Unborn! is the right to life! Yet every year our country is involved in the murder of babies in the womb for convenience and money. This is a topic that is easy to turn away from and forget because it doesn’t “affect me”.

In a scene from the movie Schindler’s List, children playing, a well dressed, sophisticated lady walking her dog and people going about their busy lives, are inconvenienced by ash raining down from the sky from the burning of bodies just over the hill. Most will choose to ignore the evidence and carry on in a willful ignorance.

We may ignore it, however, just like the “ignorant” German, so too will we, be held accountable for the sins we permit. We should not pretend that nothing will happen to us because we are “innocent.” Judgment fell on the righteous and the wicked alike in ancient Judah: “Behold, I am against you, and I will draw My sword out of its sheath and cut off both righteous and wicked from you. (Ezek 21:3)

God was appalled at the brutality and cruelty of the sadistic murder of the newly-born who were burned alive in the hands Abortion: Human Sacrificeof the pagan god Molech:

“Moreover you took your sons and your daughters, whom you bore to Me, and these you sacrificed to them to be devoured. Were your acts of harlotry a small matter, “that you have slain My children and offered them up to them by causing them to pass through the fire? (Ezek 16:20, 21)

Can we really pretend any longer that God is going to bless our country when we are permitting the slaughter of the unborn? Notice again what God says to a nation very much like our own: “For when you offer your gifts and make your sons pass through the fire, you defile yourselves with all your idols, even to this day. So shall I be inquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live,” says the Lord GOD, “I will not be inquired of by you. (Ezek 20:31)

Perhaps we have lulled ourselves into a state of apathy by imagining that it really isn’t that bad. After all, the procedure is “clinical” – it can’t be so bad – or can it? Click here to hear first hand what abortion really looks like. See if you can do so without crying over the cruelty to the unborn – then you will understand God’s feelings: “I’ve been crushed by their unfaithful hearts that have turned against me.” (Ezek 6:9)

The time has come for us to stand up and take action. We need to act on faith that doing the right thing is what God is seeking just like Moses’ mother was not willing to kill her baby and was rewarded because of her faith in God. (Heb 11) First pray for courage, then stand up and fight against the evil or the Lord will fight against us.

Three Women Testify About Abortion Reality Watch the video

“State authorities called for a full investigation into Karpen after Life Dynamics released a video with accusations from three women who worked for the Houston-based abortionist. The interview featuring Deborah Edge, Krystal Rodriguez and Gigi Aguilar provided proof, Life Dynamics said, that “the lofty rhetoric of ‘choice’ may insulate those who work in the political and public relations arena, but the day-to-day reality for those who provide those ‘choices’ is to deal with the corpses and parts of corpses they pull out of their customers’ bodies.”

Mark Crutcher, the founder of Life Dynamics, said, “While the pro-life movement claims that abortion takes the life of a living human being, nobody on earth knows that better than the people who work at abortion clinics.”

Said Edge: “I thought, well, it’s an abortion you know, that’s what he does, but I wasn’t aware that it was illegal. … Most of the time we would see him where the fetus would come completely out and of course, the fetus would still be alive.

“He does a lot of huge abortions. A lot of the times, we would bring the big fetus[es] that were over age, we would re-open the bag and just look at it and be like, ‘Oh my gosh, it’s so big!’”

Life Dynamics said: “Simply put, this is abortion!”

The release of the video came just as Gosnell, who was convicted in Philadelphia of first-degree murder, was sentenced to multiple life terms in prison. He avoided the death penalty by agreeing not to appeal.

About Douglas

  1. My country is headed over a cliff. Let’s fix it; restore the constitution and separation of church and state, kick corporations out of government, end the illegal and unconstitutional wars, put our war criminals on trial, and repeal the unconstitutional laws.

    • Why would a Christian website have a “sexy beauty to get you in the mood” link? I know friends that have terrible struggles with pornography, so I wouldn`t send them here for that very reason. Show some restraint, unless of course this “Christian website is liberal as well. Wake up Doug! Do you know how many men struggle with porn? It`s like telling an alchoholic that a glass of wine is O.K. Wake up!

      • I truly doubt those so many men you claim are the ones with an issue of watching porn. From my experience it is women who claim the man who have said issue. The women have the issue with it not the men, stop blaming me for the reactions of others and accept what life is or get out of my way.

        • Look, I wasn`t referring to you. I was referring to the ad on Doug hamps “Christian” web site? You misunderstand, it has nothing to do with you.

      • Hi Warren, I am sorry that there was that kind of ad. Google ads work by looking at the cookies in the viewers computer. I often have travel ads. Right now I am seeing an ad for magnets since my kids and I are hoping to do a school project. If you see the ad again, send me the link and I will block it. Thanks and blessings,

        • I didn`t realize it was “google” thing–sorry. I can`t stand the way they work that feature–oh well.

I`m still trying to find time to read your book. Iv`e made an attempt but school text books are killing my time.

          God Bless You

  2. Norm, a Grateful Believer

Abortion is a tragic and sinful act against the unborn and God, but in a nation where the majority of people profess to be Christians, it gives me pause to think, “How many of these abortions are done and have been done by request of Christians? How many Christian women have I heard repent of this sin? Too many to count.” In my humble opinion far too much emphasis is placed on criminalizing abortion and not enough about how to lead, guide and provide financial support to women faced with this monumental decision. I choose life.

My ancestors were given the Law and it was a crime against God to offer their children to pagan gods, but they did it. This country is not the New Israel. The Church has not replaced Israel and the blessings and curses in that covenant are not how God blesses and curses any nation today. This being said it is a tragedy that people only like to complain, but rarely act with compassion. I would challenge any person to evaluate how they think God’s purposes are to be carried out today. Change a law or change a heart? Condem or redeem?

Charles Hadden Spurgeon once preached, “There are many forms of trade in London that I wish were abolished, but not by an Act of Parliment, but by the changing of men’s hearts.”

There is forgiveness for this and all other sins if we confess our sin. Abortion will not end with legislation. The Law never changed a man or woman’s heart, but the grace and peace of our Lord can and will. When we put down the signs and slogans, open our hearts, homes and wallets to these women, when we change our focus and focus on what He can do through us to help one woman at a time to make the right choice we will be doing His work, which he has called us to do and that is to be the salt and light in the midst of this evil generation.

    • This being said it is a tragedy that people only like to complain, but
rarely act with compassion. I would challenge any person to evaluate how
they think God’s purposes are to be carried out today. Change a law or
change a heart? Condem or redeem?

That’s really a false dichotomy (and sadly a rather fashionable one). And it overlooks the fact that Western women today flaunt their sexual immorality, boasting of their whoredoms and brazenly engaging in acts which God hates so much that He ordained the death penalty for them in the Law He gave to His people. …And that’s just the half of it, without looking at the sins of the men. A society as wicked as ours is already under the condemnation of God. Warning this society of this fact is as much a part of the work of the Body of Christ as reaching out to those who hear the warning and repent.

And there is a place for righteous law. It is true that law cannot change people from the inside (only the Grace of God and salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ can do that), but law is nevertheless crucial in order simply to stem the tide of evil. Read what Paul says about civil government (which goes all the way back to the Noahic Covenant, made by God with all mankind): the divinely ordained primary role of the state is not to provide welfare or jobs; it is to “bear the sword against” the wicked, lest evil run amok unchecked.

In the 20th century, feminists encouraged Western women to fornicate freely and then demand the ‘right’ to murder the fruit of their harlotry in utero. …And unfortunately Western women gleefully drank down the feminists’ poison. Hence we have a nation overrun with Oholahs and Oholibahs and millions of murdered babies. Both male and female now flaunt their rebellion against God, with ever increasing shamelessness. Biblically, that has very clear consequences.

Never forget that God is a God of righteous wrath, as well as a God of tender mercy. The Judgement on the West is sure.
