Just a thought.. Revelation 11:8 says the death of the two witnesses and their bodies lie in the street three days “in that great city where our LORD was crucified”, and is called Sodom and Egypt terms used by God in the Old Testament when they were in disobedience and gross idolatry and worse, which says to me this is Jerusalem. Funny how just before Benny the bumbler resigned he made a pact with the Israeli government to take over the place of the kings of Judah’s tombs.. Roman catholic system has been after Jerusalem for centuries and even with the agreements before, which exempted them from paying taxes on other properties they claim, now they have this place too. Could it just be, that the Vatican, aka Roman catholicism the system that claims dominion over the whole earth, religiously and behind the scenes politically, will relocate her offices of the papacy and the inquisition to this locale? Remember, Peter said he was writing from Babylon literally, and could not he have been referring to what would later become the major center of apostasy? I can’t help but think back to Zechariah when God says through him, that all nations will come against Jerusalem, and in other places when the false prophet and the anti Christ has no more use for the apostate church, will get rid of it, which is God’s judgement on their apostasy. God uses HIS enemies to fulfill HIS will, and funny thing is.. and God does have a sense of humour, what Satan thinks he is gaining, is his demise.
