The angels were first called the Watchers because that’s what they were to Adam & Eve. As they saw the daughters of men they are the same one’s who decided to rebel against God’s will for them, & not keep their first estate, but to come down to man’s level so they could mate with the beautiful women. They did talk about it first to decide if it was worth it to them to rebel against God. Those Fallen angels are the one’s who are to be kept in eternal chains in Tartarus, or the pit, until the final judgement, then they will be nothing.

The powerful emphasis in Scriptures concerning how the name of the wicked will be forgotten and the wicked will be remembered no more is amazing. This strong and repeated message from God to those who work against His purpose has taken on striking and vivid relevance today in light of Barack Obama’s signature on a beam placed as part of the structure on the 104th floor of the One World Trade Center in New York City. The previous one world (one lip–united purpose; Genesis 11), orchestrated even then by Satan (about 5000 years ago?) through the personification of someone like Nimrod perhaps, was stopped by God, who confused the purpose of the wicked, dividing their unity into distinctly varying and seemingly opposing camps, schools of thoughts, and pursuits. For instance, people began pursuing power separately through religion, politics, and economics. Now, in our lifetime, we have been seeing the coming together of so much of the purpose of the wicked ones, though they are still divided significantly enough as God frustrates their plans.
Nevertheless, the wicked continue to work in an attempt to defy God’s scattering of their purposes. Since “balal” thousands of years ago, God seems to constantly remind the wicked that their days are numbered and that they–the wicked–will soon be remembered no more. But today, as the wicked quickly build towers in cities throughout the world, the spirit of the Anti-Christ cries out through Obama’s words at the top of North America’s tallest tower, “We remember–We rebuild–We come back stronger!”

True, they will not be remembered or brought to mind, only the new, wonderful life we’ll have.

Doug, you mention a study by your friend Bill Gallagher (spelling?) linking an ancient Hebrew name for Satan to the Akkadian Ellil. Is Bill’s study available in a public way that I can access?

The word Ellil is used in the book “The Epic of Gilgamesh”.

Your show is awsome! I’m having some trouble though according to the extra biblical text weren’t the watchers a separate set of angels just put out to watch over humanity? I think Paul alludes to this when he says women should stay covered up less the angels be tempted. As the story goes in the book of enoch the angels weren’t malicious at first, the chief was even wondering if they would all follow through with the deed. I may be wrong but its just how it reads to me. Oh and I only real think that the first 2 sections of enoch should be trusted because those are the only parts backed by scripture. The whole released after 70 generations. I don’t know how true it is whe Peter and Jude both say they will be in eternal chains in darkness until the great Judgement. If you can help me that would be awsome! Thanks bro and keep up the good work!
