An explanation and apology for comments made about Rob Skiba
In this season of the feast of Trumpets and Yom Kippur, as we should be seeking reconciliation and harmony among brothers, I apologize to Rob Skiba for calling him a false teacher, despite my strong convictions against what he teaches regarding the nature of the earth. I believe that as the body of Messiah, we should seek peace, encourage one another, and act in Holiness, rather than engaging in accusations and name calling.
I met Rob at the Prophecy in the News conference in Branson MO in 2012. We were both speaking on the Nephilim at the time and Derek Gilbert interviewed us each on the topic of “was there one Sons of God incursion or two?” It was a fun little impromptu debate; we both argued our positions from Scripture. After that event, I suggested that we start The Quest for Truth show together – we would discuss such topics where we can agree and respectfully disagree. I got to know Rob as a passionate man who loved Scripture, was a generous, moral man and who was good to his wife. I had his back because of his good character.
After a few years of doing Quest for Truth, Rob began teaching Flat Earth. I expressed I did not want to go in that direction yet he pressed on. I did all I could to keep our “breakup” amicable and quiet to maintain his honor. People would often write to me asking if we could get the show going again. After some time, I approached Rob about the possibility with only one request; we not talk about Flat Earth. We started Quest for Truth Reloaded and things were going well until we got to Revelation 1:7 “every eye will see him” and Rob said the only way to understand that was if the earth were flat. I was very disappointed that he didn’t keep our agreement.
I know that there are some people who are convinced by Rob’s research and believe the Earth is flat while on the contrary I believe the evidence points to a different conclusion. Rather than fall into the trap of the evil one, whose desire is to divide the body and weaken the power of the Word, let us heed the words of the letter to Timothy:
22 Flee from youthful passions, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. 23 But reject foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they breed quarrels. 24 The Lord’s * slave must not quarrel, but must be gentle to everyone, able to teach, and patient, 25 instructing his opponents with gentleness. Perhaps God will grant them repentance leading them to the knowledge of the truth. 26 Then they may come to their senses and escape the Devil’s trap [which is dividing the body], having been captured by him to do his will. (1 Timothy 2:22-26)
I acknowledge the passion of the argument on either side of this discussion, let us rise above our petty grievances and focus our attention on the things that will build up the body and strengthen it in these last days.
Lastly, thank you for your forgiveness for my transgression and let us all exercise grace and encouragement in lieu of admonishment and rebuke.
May the Holy One, blessed be He, find in us truth and righteousness as we enter into these Holy Days.

One elementary explanation for “Every eye shall see Him”, surely is the existence of World TV. Can you imagine for one moment that God’s Appearance in Zech 14, appearing and towering over Jerusalem, standing on Mt Zion as a Fighting Warrior in the war of Gog Magog (Armageddon), will not be captured on TV cameras and cell phones and flood the earth in seconds? This was impressed on me in 1991 when I received a phone call at 2 pm in the night to switch on my TV and watch the igniting of the Iraq War. I was in South Africa when the SA TV Station re-opened their Channels at 2 pm in the night especially to capture the live TV broadcasts from Iraq when the skies lit up like a fireworks display! Wow! Every eye across the Globe could see that instantaneously. Today you can capture it on your cell phone which is becoming a common utility item even amongst the poor.
