Quest 4 Truth Episode 9

In this episode, Doug Hamp and Rob Skiba continue their study/commentary on Revelation, finally stepping into Chapter 2. They discuss the 7 Churches and then spend the bulk of the show talking about who the Nicolaitans were that Jesus said He hates, and why it is still important to obey God, by keeping His commandments. Is Yeshua really coming “as a thief in the night”? If so, to whom? All this and more in this latest episode of Quest 4 Truth!

Quest 4 Truth Episode 8

In this episode of Quest 4 Truth, Doug Hamp and Rob Skiba continue their study of Revelation chapter 1. Where is Hades? Who has the keys to death and the grave? We know that the Holy Spirit inspired the writing of Scripture, but was it the Holy Spirit or the Council of Nicea that inspired/authorized the “canon” and the creation of a “Bible?” Should the canon be open or closed and who is to decide that? Without a doubt, this episode is perhaps going to be the most controversial. Just remember, questions are good and both Doug and Rob are only asking them because they are on a Quest 4 Truth.

Quest 4 Truth with Rob Skiba and Douglas Hamp Episode 6

In this episode of Quest 4 Truth, Doug Hamp and Rob Skiba tackle Revelation 1 together. How should we read Revelation? Who are we in Christ? Who are the 7 Churches? Who are the ones in Revelation 1:7 who pierced Christ, and will see Him when He comes on the clouds? What’s up with Longinus, Cartaphilus, Ahasuerus and the Spear of Destiny? Are there immortals among us or is the text simply talking about the Jews and/or Romans? And what about the Alpha and Omega (Aleph and Tav in Hebrew)? Is Revelation 1:8 giving us a clue to understanding the Hebrew of Zechariah 12:10, or is the Aleph-Tav not really a representation of Christ at all? Find out as we continue on a quest for truth.
